What is the best colour for a teenage girls bedroom?

My room is just plain white on the walls and it is so boring, what is the best colour? I am almost 15. Plz help me choose! What is the best colour for a teenage girls bedroom?
depends what youre into :D dulux have nice colours :)What is the best colour for a teenage girls bedroom?
For a teenage girl, the hot color right is fuchsia. In a small room, you may only want to paint one wall fuchsia, with the remaining walls a lighter color.

I'm a big believer in using the Internet for decorating. If you look at web sites like Pottery Barn or Better Homes and Gardens, you can search for room ideas and narrow down your choices that way. Bedroom ideas on Pottery Barn are here: http://www.potterybarn.com/shop/bedding/鈥?/a> and Better Homes and Gardens has a gallery here: http://decoratinggallery.bhg.com/Categor鈥?/a>

If you want to keep a neutral tone to your room, paint it a soothing taupe and use that backdrop to accent with bold colors. For example, if you like hot pink but don't want to paint your walls that color, focus on the pink in bedding and throw pillows, while adding something bold like zebra stripes. The best place to add a bold pieces is your floor. Try an area rug that looks like this http://houseofarearugs.com/Nolita-1310-B鈥?/a> .

If you have shelves, use baskets with hot pink fabric liners, add a zebra print picture frame; you get the idea.
Wallpaper! It's so easy trust me, just find a wallpaper you like, paste it onto one wall, then coordinate stuff in your room with the wallpaper (eg. if theres pink in the wallpaper, get pink cushions).

Me and my mum wallpapered one of my walls, we just followed instructions online, and it only took us about 30mins, quicker than painting i'd say. And Me and my Mum are not the most intelligent of people! Lol. But i'd definately say it takes 2 people.

Ikea, Habitat, Heals all do nice wallpaper? If the wallpaper you choose has bits of a colour in it, you could paint a wall that colour so it works with the wallpaper? It makes such a difference to a room, xx

I know just how you feel! I'm hopeless at choosing colours. The nice thing about paint is that if you do choose a colour you find you hate, you can change it! I've got a very pale purple at the moment - sounds awful, but it's actually very soothing.

I have learned to start with 'light' colours (if your not sure what you like). It's a LOT easier to paint over light colours, than it is to change dark colours to a lighter one. The room I'm in was deep, deep blue. I'm sure the previous owners loved it, but to me it was like going into a very dark corridor!!!! It took 2 coats of undercoat and 2 coats of the pale purple to get rid of the ghastly blue. Now, the room looks twice the size and is light and airy. I love it.

Look at the way people in magazines and on tv have decorated their rooms to get an idea of colours you would like, then go to a DIY paint place and get a load of colour cards (the paint section usually give them out free and they're BRILLIANT for selecting colours). You can even get little tiny pots of paint to 'have a go' and see what it's like on the wall (I did that in the kitchen - the one I chose looked way to bright, so it was a good job I didn't pay out for a whacking great tin of the stuff!).

Have fun and good luck. xx
your question confuses me?

there is no best colour...

whateve colour you like is the best colour for YOU

i like loads...

maybe you should have wallpaper if you cant decide, my friend has wallpaper and a blank white wall that shes gonna draw on the paint and its gonna be really cool

so if youre arty or something you could do that
The best color for any room is a color the occupant likes. What's your favorite color? Use any color you want to! You can always paint over it before you move out.

My son chose his room colors when he was about 13. Vivid red on one wall, vivid blue on one wall, bright yellow on the opposite walls and beige ceiling. He's got dark wood furniture and 2 built in bookcases painted beige with red and blue on the outside edges of the shelves. It looks awesome (even to his parents!) He still loves it at 17.
i dont think there is a best color but if you cant decide I would just paint all the walls and ceiling a different color than have solid color accesories so it doesnt get to crazy, like the bed spread, lamps, clocks and what not should all be the same color. Or you could paint them all one color than put polka-dots or stripes of another color around the room, my brother and I did this and I love it.
well if ur girly then i would say hot pink or baby pink or maybe even lilac.i am almost 13 and am having my room painted lilac.my room now is the 2 opposite walls are the same colour so it is light blue on 2 walls and darker blue on the other 2 walls.it is done like that as i share a room with my step sister and we wanted different colour walls.we also have fish stamps on our wall done with white paint.if ur a tomboy then maybe you should have blue.hope i helped
im 15 in december. and i'm planning on painting my room in color's i won't grow out of so slightly sophisticate color's, im painting mine a cream black and light pink, but really it's whatever color's you see and say you liek in a shop.
A light pink or green would look nice. Maybe even together.

Or you could go crazy and use a vibrant blue or purple.

pick your favorite color and do that. cant go wrong with your favorite color. look at different shades of it to see what you like
I took a dump yesterday and I had never seen a color like that before and i really thought it was interesting. Try that color, it was more like the mix of pink, yellow and brown with touch of small black dots. Try it, she will love it!
Blue. Guys like it, and its not girly either, but inspite that, girls can have it.
welll what colours do u like?

i would not do anything too dark because it will make the room feel small.

pick something you wont get tired of soon either!
