What are good suggestions for teenage baking/cooking?

Does anyone know of a good food, recipe, or website for baking and cooking at a teenage level?

I really love to bake/cook. But I'm afraid I've been though all of my cookbooks, and I'm in search for more recipes to make things.

I prefer deserts.

Thank you.

Good to hear of teenagers enjoying cooking.

I use the UKTV food website http://uktv.co.uk/index.cfm/uktv/Food.homepage/sid/566

they have 1000's of receipes and are graded easy - hard.

Also for a laugh check out www.pimpthatsnack.com
I prefer baby's, teenagers are a little too tough.
Good luck in your quest I sincerely hope that you find someone to try them on, and who deserves you.

Oh So Orange Sorbet

3/4 cup sugar

1 lemon

1/2 cup water

12 oranges

Add sugar to a heavy based pan. Next add the juice of half the lemon plus 1/2 cup water. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.

Then bring to a boil and leave boiling for 2-3 minutes so that the sugar mixture turns to a clear syrup. Let cool. Wash the skins of the oranges. Grate the skin of 4 of the oragnes and add to the syrup.

Juice the 4 oranges in a juicer and add to syrup. Slice the tops of the remaining 8 oranges. Scoop out the orange flesh and squeeze out the juice and add to the syrup. Add the juice of the other half of lemon to the syrup and stir. Taste the syrup and add extra freshly squeezed orange juice, water, and/or sugar if needed. Pour the orange mixture into a freezer-proof container and freeze for 3-4 hours.

Put the orange tops on the 8 hollowed out oranges and place on a cookie tray in the freezer.

Remove orange mixture from freezer and beat with a whisk to break up the ice. Cover and place mixture back in freezer for 3-4 more hours. Make sure the mixture is firm, but not solid ice and then remove from freezer.

Spoon orange sorbet mixture into the frozen oranges, fill to top, then place orange top like a lid. Place back in freezer until ready to serve. If you like, stick a fresh bay leaf on top of the orange lids for decoration.

Makes a cool, refreshing dessert. Serves 8.

Here's my teenage sons' favorite:

Special K Bars

heat to boiling: 1 cup sugar and 1 cup light corn syrup

remove from heat and stir in one cup peanut butter

mix this into 6-7 cups cereal

press into 9x13 pan

top with 1 cup chocolate chips, let them melt (I usually put the whole thing into a warm over for 5 minutes to speed this up)

spread the chocolate and let the pan cool - about one hour depending on the weather.

ENJOY!

easy, but very tasty!
There are tons of cooking sites on-line. I don't believe there is any difference between teenage cooking and adult cooking. I have always believed that if you can read and follow directions YOU can cook ANYTHING. Have a great time experimenting. I love to make deserts too. The fancier, the richer, the better.
well my niece love Jacket pots with cheese and bean or chips she love nearly every day!! mad!!! or u can try ur own make it up like stir-fry -- chicken with onion (white) fry them in little oil, then u can add some pepper (red, yellow, orange and green) that little lata, aft the chicken is done not over cook just white, u can add some sauce from shop any sauce it for chicken or sweet n sour tin then u add the pepper last. then u are, u can have with rice or chips.
