What one tip would you give future teenage babysitters?

Or, what was one hint that you wish you had been told before you starting babysitting? Answers may vary, but this is more directed towards looking over children from the age of 3-5.What one tip would you give future teenage babysitters?
That just because you give a child what he or she wants doesn't mean they will be satisfied for more than an hour and that young children require alot of energyWhat one tip would you give future teenage babysitters?
From the age of 3-5 a child is starting to develop their sense of independence and at that age they go off and explore on their own

As a babysitter one should know not to let a child out of their sight this is crucial. You can keep an eye on the child and still give them their space.
Watch the child/children at all times. My niece(18 months) that I babysit fell and broke her wrist. I wasn't there at the time, and someone was like an inch away, but as you can see, anything can happen with young, curious children. Always be close by and watch them.
If you can, get 'em OUTSIDE. Nothing like sunshine, nature, and lot of exercise and play for young kids.

If you must stay indoors, then come up with activities to keep them moving and playing; video games and TV should be outlawed for anyone under 10 years old.
I have babysit-ted before...a girl not even a year old and had to change diapers..so know how to change the diaper in case..make sure not to look away for a second cause i did and she almost had a bottle cap down her throat..so they can be like that have all the toys, snacks, and blankets..!
Know dozens of games at will; be CPR trained, be prepared to have answers to even the craziest things because at that age, they want to know EVERYTHING about anything.

Know how to act.
NEVER NEVER NEVER leave a child unattended (especially toddlers) as they can get into things in the blink of an eye. Sometimes you have to (using the toilet, for example). Just pee and wash your hands really quickly, lol.
To make sure your eyes are on children 3 and younger at all times.Don't be talking on your cellphone ,or watching t.v..Cause children at that age can get into trouble real fast.
It is not as easy as it sounds...Kids can be really tough...
Have never baby sat and got paid for it. So it's difficult to say. 3 to 5 year old's are good if they don't scream a lot.
